It’s that time. Time to start getting your SPOOK on! We don’t do a ton of Halloween decor or food here, and I don’t really know why. Just usually sneaks up on us, I guess! Before I know it, I’m planning Thanksgiving and we never really did much except trick-or-treat for Halloween! This year, since I have a 4 year old, I’m trying to be a tad more “cool” and plan some activities and recipes that bring the spook to our house. It’s a tad early, but when you’re a blogger, you start planning holidays two months out!
Monster Caramel Corn is super easy to make.
I’m a lazy cook, so when I got an idea to jazz up some caramel corn and make some monster caramel corn, I was in NO WAY making caramel corn. To make this Monster Caramel Corn, you’ll need:
1 bag Caramel Corn
1 bag milk chocolate chips
1 bag white chocolate chips
4 Kit Kat bars
1 package edible googly eyes
Lay the caramel corn out on a cookie sheet. Break up the Kit Kat bars and sprinkle over the caramel corn. Melt your chocolates and drizzle over the caramel corn. Place googly eyes face up in the chocolate drizzles so they stick to the corn!
Easy peasy. My kind of treat!
Sami got home and grabbed a bowl of Monster Caramel Corn and exclaimed, “Mommy, there’s EYES in here looking at me!”
JOB DONE RIGHT!
Happy Halloween!
SUPER cute idea. The kiddos would love this… if they get any! ha!
Thank you so much Virginia!
So cute, Melanie!
Thank you Susan!
haha AWESOME! This would be perfect for a cute Halloween party! Love Sami’s reaction… I don’t know how I would feel about my food looking back at me… 😉
