What happens when you are craving a cheese-topped pizza, but don’t have the time to make pizza dough and don’t want to order in? You make quick and easy pizza on toast! This simple, 5-minute snack idea is pure genius. We wish we had thought of it ourselves!

Ingredients
- 4-8 slices bread, toasted
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1-2 cups mozzarella, grated
- Toppings of your choice
- 1 teaspoon oregano
Instructions
- Preheat the broiler or grill in your oven, and arrange the toast on a baking sheet.
- Add a spoonful of pizza sauce to each piece of toast, spreading evenly with the back of the spoon.
- Add grated cheese and toppings to the toast slices. Sprinkle the oregano over the toast slices.
- Put the baking sheet in the oven, and cook until the cheese is melted.
- Let the pizza toast cool before serving.
22. Easy yogurt flatbread

We love this delicious recipe for flatbread, especially because it uses yogurt! It takes just 5 minutes to prepare and goes great with additional ingredients, like hummus or salad.

Ingredients
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- Extra flour
Instructions
- Mix the yogurt and flour in a bowl until mostly combined. It should be clumpy and crumbly.
- Dust your workspace with the extra flour, and transfer the mixture onto it.
- Knead the mixture for about 5 minutes, picking up all the clumps, or until forms a smooth dough. Then split the dough into 8 small balls.
- Dust a rolling pin with flour. Roll the 8 dough balls flat, and gently shake off the excess flour.
- Heat a frying pan on medium-high heat.
- Place one bread into the pan at a time. When the bread begins to bubble, after about a minute, flip it. Cook for about another minute.
- Wipe out any flour left behind in the pan between cooking.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
23. Frozen yogurt berry bites

Frozen yogurt berry bites make a delicious, filling breakfast, after-dinner treat, or snack between meals. Feel free to modify them with your favorite ingredients!

Instructions
- Add berries, or your ingredients of choice, to the ice cube mold.

- 1/2 tablespoon chia seeds

- Put the oats, chia seeds, baking powder, and salt in a blender. Blend until the ingredients are finely ground.
- Pour the blender contents to a bowl, and add the applesauce and mix. Mix until a sticky dough forms.
- Move the dough to a greased ramekin, and smooth the top.
- Microwave the dough on high for about 2 minutes. Let it cool for a few minutes before taking it out of the microwave.
- Cut the muffin in half, toast, and top as you desire.

When you’re feeling a bit hungry, it isn’t hard to crave something sweet and crunchy, like potato chips. These sweet potato chips are delicious and satisfying, and they take 5 minutes to prepare.

Ingredients
- 1 large sweet potato
- 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Wash the sweet potato, and cut off the ends and any brown spots.
- Cut the sweet potato into thin slices.
- Move the sweet potato slices to a bowl. Add the oil, salt, and pepper. Toss the slices in the oil and seasonings, coating evenly.
- Cut parchment paper into a circle the size of the rotating glass dish in your microwave. Put the parchment paper on the glass dish.
- Place the slices in a single layer on the paper. You will likely need to microwave them in batches.
- Microwave the slices on high power for 3-4 minutes, or until crispy but not browned.
- Repeat steps 5 and 6 until you have cooked all slices.
- Serve immediately.

Ingredients
- 1 cup peanuts
- 1 cup dates, pitted
- 1 cup dried apricots
Instructions
- Combine and pulse the ingredients a few times in a food processor to break them up. Separate any clumps of dates.
- Process the ingredients for another 1-2 minutes until they form a ball. Scrape the sides of the bowl as needed.
- Prepare your work surface with a piece parchment paper the size of a baking sheet.
- Transfer your dough to the parchment paper, and press it into a thick 8″ x 8″ square.
- Gently smooth the dough with a rolling pin.
- Wrap the dough square in plastic wrap, and chill for at least an hour.

What could be nicer than a quick and easy pinwheel using Italian-inspired ingredients? Not only are these a popular snack amongst children, but they’re great for adults, too. Even those with the busiest of schedules can find a few minutes to make these.

Pinwheel ingredients
- 3 flour tortillas, burrito size
- 1 8 oz package of Genoa salami
- 30 pepperoni slices
- 9 slices provolone cheese
- Romaine lettuce
Pepper spread ingredients
- 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup Italian bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2/3 cup roasted or sweet red peppers, chopped small
- 2/3 cup banana peppers, chopped small
Instructions
- Combine the pepper spread ingredients in a bowl, and mix well.
- Spoon 1/3 of the pepper, and spread into onto a tortilla with the back of the spoon.
- Place three slices of cheese in the center of the tortilla, side by side.
- Layer enough salami to cover the tortilla, followed by a layer of pepperoni over the salami.
- Finally, add romaine lettuce on top of the pepperoni.
- Roll the tortilla tightly, and refrigerate for 1 hour, or until cooled.
- Slice the rolled tortilla into pinwheels.
This looks like such a tasty snack!
