Well, hey there friends! Keri here from Shaken Together with a really fun, no-bake treat (my favorite kind!) that is perfect for your 4th of July celebrations! After dinner and before the fireworks, you can whip up a quick batch of this patriotic treat for your family and guests …
Red, White & Blue S’mores Bark
Isn’t it fun?! I’ll admit, this might be my favorite take on s’mores ever! No scorched marshmallows or burnt fingers here … Red, White & Blue S’mores Bark is packed with all of the classic flavors of s’mores {graham crackers, chocolate and marshmallows} with a twist!
Graham crackers … move over for Golden Grahams cereal! Take plain chocolate to the next level and use peanut or peanut butter M&Ms! And those star-shaped colored marshmallows are just so fun! Press them into vanilla almond butter and add tons of brightly colored sprinkles for a super easy patriotic sweet treat!
- One pound of vanilla almond bark
- Golden Grahams cereal
- M&Ms (we used peanut M&Ms - yum!)
- Star shaped marshmallows
- Seasonal 4th of July / red, white & blue sprinkles
- Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the almond bark according to package directions.
- Carefully pour the almond bark over the parchment paper and spread it to the edges as evenly as possible.
- Sprinkle on cereal, M&Ms and marshmallows.
- Add the seasonal sprinkles.
- Allow bark to set - to speed up the process, pop it in the refrigerator.
- Break the bark into small pieces and serve immediately.
The best part of this recipe is that there isn’t really recipe! If you love M&Ms … load up on ’em. Want more marshmallows? By all means! If you are hosting a patriotic party, this s’mores bark would make a great favor to package up and send with your guests to nibble on their way home!
Let’s hear it for the Red, White & Blue treats!!
