When it comes to summer, I think of lemonade and ice cream – two of my favorite things!
This summer, I made my very own version of Strawberry Lemon Sorbet, and let tell you, the batch didn’t even last a week in this house.
It was gone FAST! It’s a good thing it’s super easy to make {easier WITH an ice cream maker, but still something you can make without a gadget!}
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1 1/4 cup strawberry lemonade {I made it with Crystal Light liquid water enhancer}
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 3 cups water
- 1 1/2 TB lemon zest
Instructions
If you are making your sorbet by hand, here’s a great tutorial on Making Sorbet Without An Ice Cream Maker. It’s easier than you’d think {says the girl with the ice cream maker!}
I love this recipe, and it’s certainly a keeper. Everyone loves it and I’m sure you will too!
Hey there! I’m in love with how delicious this looks! I’m doing a post soon on my favorite summer snacks, and if it’s ok with you, I’m going to link to this one! Yum!

This looks yummy Melanie! I was wondering about using liquid water flavorings in ice cream/sorbet recipes and you answered that question for me. Thanks for sharing!!
