Hi Everyone! It’s Gina from Kleinworth & Co. here again to share with you one of our family’s favorite early summer treats. We lived in the Nevada desert for 12 long years. We learned in that time some tried & true ways to cool down in the hot months. You see- the heat arrives as early as late February & sticks around until close to November. When I say heat- I mean it’s reaching 80 degrees during February & November & to us that meant comfortable. It wasn’t unusual while we lived there to have close to if not more than 100 days over 100 degrees. Fortunately we live in North Idaho now- so heat isn’t so much a factor anymore. But that doesn’t mean that I don’t still love making yummy cool treats when it’s finally warm enough here to kick off the heater. One thing I love to make is smoothie pops. These Banana Blueberry Smoothie Pops are really yummy & 100% healthy too.
We like a grab one, sit on the porch & watch the summer thunderstorms roll through.
Because they are all healthy ingredients, the kids like to have these with a bowl of fruit for breakfast too on those warm summer mornings.
