Quick & Easy Centerpiece

When the sweet gals from Country Chic Cottage and 30 Minute Crafts offered me the opportunity to participate in the Lightning Craft Challenge, I was all over creating a sweet centerpiece for my extremely boring kitchen table.

For me to take the time to make something, it needed to be something:

A: easy that I could whip up {enter Lightning Crafts Challenge!} CHECK,

B: something cheery {flowers and baker’s twine} CHECK,

C: something that would make me smile when I walked into the room {Scrabble Tile Embellishment} CHECK

My 15 minute Flower Centerpiece is the perfect accessory for an otherwise boring table or entryway!

I found the jar set on clearance for $4.00 at Michaels.  Using baker’s twine, I wrapped each jar with two separate colors for an added color mix!

I put a dab of hot glue at the beginning, wrapped the twine around, and added a dab of hot glue at the end.

I did these three jars in 12 minutes, while watching ANOTHER episode of The Good Wife.  Anyone watch?  Good stuff!

I added the word SHINE with hot glue and Scrabble Letters – and voila!  An easy craft that adds extra cheer to my dining room table!
