Mini Caramel Apples

These mini caramel apples are a mix of apples, chocolate, and caramel and they’re bite size pieces of heaven!  The best part is, they’re really easy to make and don’t make much of a mess either!

You’ll need to make sure you have:

a melon baller

Granny Smith apples

melting chocolate

lollipop sticks

various toppings {coconut, mini chocolate chips, nuts, candy crunches, sprinkles, etc.}

**note…I left out the melting chocolates in this photo! **

To get the apples ready, you’ll need to use a melon baller to make your mini apples.  I got 5 mini apples from the smaller Granny Smith apples I had on hand.  You want to make sure you get part of the green in your scoop!

Stick your lollipop stick into the green side of the apple.  If you have a hard time getting the sticks in, you’ll just need to cut your stick at an angle, making a point!

Melt your chocolate according the package directions and then dip your mini apples into the chocolate.  Roll the apples into the toppings you choose and place them in mini baking cups to harden.  Once the chocolate is set, drizzle caramel on the tops of the apples to finish them off.

  1. These would make great bite-sized desserts! It’s not sexy to dig your face into a large caramel apple, but these mini treats might just solve that problem!
