    1. I don’t believe the Mod Podge soaks through the shell; it’s basically just gluing the napkins to the outside of the shell. We ate these eggs and it all seemed totally fine. Also, like regular white glue, Mod Podge is non-toxic; of course that doesn’t mean it has gone through FDA testing processes to determine whether or not it’s food safe, because it is a craft supply and not a food, but for me at least, that makes me ok if a little bit gets on my hands or on a plate of food before I eat it. 🙂
