Crockpot BBQ Chicken Sliders

I could kick myself when I forget to thaw out the chicken in enough time cook it for dinner.

 I do this far too often, and end up making mac-n-cheese instead of the fancy recipe I’d planned.

Little ole’ me got a little cuh-ray-zy the other morning when I realized I’d done it again!
Time to make Crockpot BBQ Chicken Sliders!

I put the chicken into the crock pot..
wait for it…..
you won’t believe it…..
you ready????

 FROZEN!
Yes…put in frozen chicken, cover with BBQ sauce, and put the lid on.  DONE…
Cook on high for 6 hours and you’ll be ready to make your sandwiches!
Here’s the recipe that doesn’t even need words.
The meal that cooks itself!

 {Mac-n-Cheese takes more effort!}

  1. I put frozen meat in the slow cooker all the time. Made pulled pork last night, actually (frozen pork tenderloin, a bit of water, BBQ sauce, and some marmalade). So easy and delicious!

  2. Here's a tex-mex spin on crockpot chicken for you: 2 lbs chicken, can of pinto beans in chili sauce, bottle of chipotle salsa and serve it shredded up on tortillas with cheese. (I do it from frozen too :))- Jess (at) OlyMomma
