Print Instagram Photos

It’s about time that I got with the times and finally managed to print Instagram photos!  If you’re addicted to Instagram as much as I am, you have a TON of photos on your phone that never make it into any frames or albums.  They’re shared with everyone else, but never shared within your own home.   My hubby isn’t on Instagram, so most of these pics, he hadn’t even seen!

{For the record, I’m ok with him not being on IG, cause that way…I can make fun of him if I choose!}

To print instagram photos, I used the Printicular app on my iPhone.  It’s a FREE app available for all devices, both Apple and all of you other guys….The pics printed right to Walgreens from my phone for $0.39 each.  They print out in a 4×4 square….just PERFECT!  I picked them up in an hour and was on my way to making a unique Instagram art piece!

Using an old, under-utilized bulletin board, I added paint {sanded just a tad for a vintage look}, Mod Podge to glue down and seal the pics, a fabric bunting I made with scraps, and a chalkboard “LOVE” sign made from chipboard shapes I bought ages ago!

Put it all together, and you’ve got a perfectly unique Instagram Art Frame for everyone to see.

  4. I am SO doing something like this. Thanks for sharing the app… I don’t think our Walgreens does photos anymore, but I’m definitely going to check into it. I need to display my IG photos somewhere. My husband has it, but I think he has about 3 photos up. I know he checks mine, though, because he gave me flowers this week and wanted to know why a picture hadn’t made it to IG. LOL.

    I’d be tickled if you’d link up at this week’s Off the Hook!

    Looks great! If you’re interested in skipping the manual labor (printing, going to a shop to pick them up, cutting and pasting) check out http://www.posterfuse.com! The site lets you instantly drag and drop your IG and Facebook photos into a collage layout.

    You can print your collage into a 20×32″ sized poster!
