The scene: Daddy {somewhere in the house}, a pink highlighter, and an “all alone in the playroom” 2 1/2 year old……

Have you tried olive oil or vaseline on cotton balls? Most of the things recommended you can’t put on eyelids
You might try eye makeup remover.
That’s my challenge…can’t put most things on her face! I’ll try makeup remover….duh!
Lol…this reminds me of the time my daughter colored her arm with permanent marker. Unfortunately, most things I can think of wouldn’t be safe so close to the eye. I second the recommendation of eye makeup remover.
this is pretty much a daily occurrence in my house. No matter how many ways I try to keep markers out of her reach, she finds a way to get it on her face. That and water “tea parties” are my nemesis right now. I feel your pain:)
That is so funny! Okay, okay, it’s funny to me b/c THIS time it’s not my kid… But it has been! I haven’t had to get marker off her eyelids yet, just the rest of her face, and arms, and hands….
